Young Carers Action Day
Young Carers Action Day is an annual event to raise awareness of Young Carers, and this year’s theme, ‘give us a break,’ couldn’t be more fitting!
To celebrate, we’re inviting Young Carers and Young Adult Carers to a special cinema night because they deserve it.
We’re also excited to launch a ‘schools network’ to share ideas on identifying and supporting Young Carers. This initiative will help schools work towards achieving the ‘Young carers in schools award’ and build on the incredible work already being done in York. Together, we can empower Young Carers to thrive and access their full education.
