Trustees

The York Carers Centre board of trustees is made up of a committee of dedicated trustees, who meet regularly and volunteer their time and experience providing overall leadership and ensuring the charity is doing what it was set up to do.

A number of our trustees have experience of being a carer themselves and become trustees to help make a positive difference to carers lives.

Volunteering as a trustee is a rewarding and enjoyable experience. Working together as a team trustees are given the information and support to run the charity effectively, have the opportunity to meet new people and use their skills and experience.

We are always looking for new trustees and welcome any expressions of interest, even if it’s just to find out more. Any of our current trustees would be willing to chat about their involvement and talk about how to be involved.
