We’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity shown through donations this festive season, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Your support makes a world of difference to us as a charity, especially when budgets are stretched.
- We are thrilled to announce a generous £5,000 donation from Vermex Ltd, ensuring Ali Gear can continue her vital work supporting carers.
- A heartfelt thank you to Next Door But One and York Theatre Royal for generously donating pantomime tickets to carers who attended the Arts and Loss groups.
- Many thanks to YorkMix Toy Appeal and ASDA customers for their wonderful toy donations, spreading joy to Young Carers at Christmas.
- We are thankful for a generous £1,000 donation from an anonymous donor. Whoever you are, please know how much we appreciate your kindness and support.
- A big thank you to Morrisons for the delicious Chocolate Orange Bars; a sweet treat to brighten the festive season.
- A big thank you to Jo, Tesco Community Champion, for the generous donation of W7 Wow Pout lipstick and gloss sets, school uniform and refreshments. Your support is always appreciated.
- A heartfelt thank you to Jack, an incredible young man who applied for a £2,000 donation from the Pavers Foundation on our behalf. Jack has been supported by our Young Adult Carers team and received CBT in the past, and this was his way of saying thank you for the help he received. He shared that there’s nowhere else he’d rather direct this donation, which makes it all the more special. Thank you, Jack – you’ve made a big difference!
- We are thrilled to have received a £750 grant from the Carers Trust to support our cinema event for Young Carers Action Day this March! Thank you for helping us make this special day even more memorable for young carers.
- As always, we are grateful to the Salvation Army for their generous donation of presents for Young Carers this Christmas. The children appreciated receiving these gifts at their Christmas party, making the occasion even more special.
- A big thank you to Emily, Community Champion at Tesco Clifton Moor, for the incredibly generous box of freebies donated for Young Adult Carers for the LOVE January doorstep drops. Your support means so much and will bring a lot of joy to a gloomy, cold January.
