FINANCE MANAGER – 21 hours per week
Salary: £35,235 per annum pro rata

York Carers Centre is an independent charity that helps unpaid carers in York access the support they need. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an individual with a genuine interest in carers to use their experience and skills to play a crucial role in our service by leading and managing all aspects of the charity’s finances providing a strong financial backbone to our work.
We are seeking a resilient, organised, structured, self-motivated individual with an exceptional eye for detail who can keep our finances running smoothly and efficiently. The role is hands-on and varied, managing day-to-day financial operations with responsibility for a broad range of financial, reporting and budgeting functions.
A key aspect will be to work alongside the CEO to identify funding opportunities and support colleagues with project budgets, working flexibly to provide timely financial reporting to our trustees and funders, ensuring charity finances are utilised in line with contractual obligations and legal and statutory requirements.
