– Creative Crafts (with York Learning)
In partnership with York Learning, our free 10 week Creative Crafts course just for York Carers Centre, will give you the opportunity to ‘have a go’ at a wide variety of craft techniques within a friendly and supportive environment.
There will be time to practice, explore and to develop new skills, taught to you by tutor Debs New, and support will be given to help you experiment with materials and to develop your own ideas. The techniques that will be taught will include felt making, collage, simple printing and embroidery.
There will be plenty of materials and fabrics to practice with, however, you may bring things in that you have at home to allow you to personalise your work.
Sessions will be informal and there will be chance to chat to our staff and other carers.
