Carers Week is a national campaign dedicated to raising awareness of unpaid carers, highlighting the challenges they face, and recognising the vital role they play in families and communities.
This year, we’re hosting a series of events to shine a light on unpaid carers and spread the word about the free support and resources available in York.
We want local carers to know we’re here for you – whenever you need us.
Join us at one of our events to connect with a Carer Support Worker and meet others who share similar experiences.
There’s plenty happening throughout Carers Week, including our gazebo in Museum Gardens, which was a big hit last year.
Many carers stopped by to say hello, catch up, and enjoy a picnic including our Young Adult Carers group – it was wonderful to see. We’d love to welcome even more of you this year!
