Carers Action Group
The Carers Action Group brings together carers, York Carers Centre staff, and professionals from local organisations.
At our February meeting, we discussed the Carers Improvement Plan with Krishna De from York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We also discussed the Carers Strategy Survey with Edward Njuguna from City of York Council.
Our next meeting will focus on advancing the new Carers Strategy, with the results from the Carers Strategy Survey now in. Attending the group gives you the opportunity to have your voice heard as a carer, connect with service providers, and share what matters most to you in your caring role.
